Laser + Stainless Steel = Bike?

The Erembald bike is laser-cut from stainless steel.  Overdimensioned Stainless Steel tubes (40 x 2 mm) are used, and even after laser cutting the frames are 1.5 times as stiff as a competition carbon race frame.

With no gears, a fixed saddle height, a weight of 11-12Kg and a run of only 50 this is quite an exclusive and niche bike. That said it does showcase the possibilities of Stainless Steel and how it can be used in a huge variety of applications, from bikes to laboratory sinks and work surfaces, from solar cells to kitchen splash backs.
